The Imaginarium Summer Workshop is a playful course cultivating imagination through idiosyncratic lens, with Madelon Vriesendorp, Eric Wong, Ivan Chan, Edmund Tan, Luke Angers, and CJ Lim. Madelon Vriesendorp is an artist, illustrator, painter, and recipient of the Soane Medal 2025. She produced influential illustrations for OMA, and her painting ‘Flagrant Délit' (1978) appears on the cover of ‘Delirious New York' by Rem Koolhaas. Her 40-year retrospective toured internationally, and her work is held in major public collections including MoMA New York and the FRAC Centre.
Eric Wong is an academic, architect, and illustrator who worked with Oscar-nominated director Mamoru Hosoda as concept artist and production designer on the award-winning Japanese animated feature ‘Belle' (2021), designing the film’s virtual world, U. His work has been widely published and exhibited.
Ivan Chan is an academic, architect, and illustrator working across installations and community projects, offering alternative perspectives on migration, social wellbeing, and environmental resilience. His work has been widely published and exhibited.
Edmund Tan is an animator, visual artist, and architect. His work has been internationally featured at the London Art Biennale, Singapore Architecture Festival, Suzhou Museum, Urban Cross Gallery Shanghai, and Tatler Asia.
Luke Angers is an animator, author and architect with a long-standing interest in the spatial narratives of urbanism and landscape. He is co-author of the bestseller ‘Dreams + Disillusions’ (2024).
CJ Lim is a transformative educator, creative influencer and has authored 12 books including ‘Dreams + Disillusions’ (2024) which continues his interest in the creative magic of imagination.
